The Experience
Envision waiting for your food to arrive and then your hear the roar of an elephant in the background. As you take your first bite, a gorilla rumbles as a bolt of lightning simultaneously flashes overhead. You look up and a dense covering of foliage dangles above. As you continue with your meal, a 'smoke' cloud plumes in the distance. Then one of the waiters comes barreling out and yells Volcano! That's when you realize this is no ordinary restaurant experience.
On the Menu
Aside from the surreal environs, the Rainforest Café has quite an extensive menu that offers some delicious American cuisine. Dishes have inventive tropical names such as Raging Thunder Buffalo Wings, Leaping Lizard Lettuce Wraps and Flying Dragon Pepperoni Pizza. The youngsters are always a big fan of the Jurassic Chicken Tidbits - breaded chicken shaped like dinosaurs.
