Orlando's Most Popular Half-Day Attraction
When Owen Godwin opened up Gatorland back in the 1949 he couldn't have possible fathomed the joy it would bring to millions of visitors throughout the years. These days, travelers flock to Orlando's most popular "half-day" attraction to see gators galore, along with other fascinating creatures of the swamp.

Gator Conservation
Gatorland also strongly focuses on protecting these incredible animals from extinction. Breeding efforts have been very successful in recent years, not only for Florida gators, but for the endangered Cuban Crocodile as well. Visitors can follow the Swamp Walk to see the Breeding Marsh - simulated after the animal's natural environs - where these ferocious, yet majestic creatures reside. For an aerial view, the observation deck offers a superb view of the park.

Swamp Walk
Stroll high above the Cypress Swamp on a wooden walkway and catch a glimpse of what Central Florida looked like before the big theme park boom. The all natural feel of the Swamp Walk is what makes it truly unique.

Action Shows
Stick around for the Upclose Animal Encounters Show that features spiders, snakes, frisky gators and even some gator wrestling. Kids can get photos with their favorite gator too.  Or, there's the ever-popular Jumparoo where you can watch gators leap for chicken treats.

Allies Barnyard
This interactive barnyard of fun is always a fan favorite among the youngsters. Kids can stroll in and feed sheep, goats, chickens, ducks and even some friendly deer.
