Walt Disney World is an enchanting selection of theme parks and resorts located in Orlando, Florida. There is so much to do that it cannot be seen in just one day.
The first attraction that probably comes to mind when one hears Walt Disney World is Disney's Magic Kingdom Park. Magic Kingdom is a wonderful fantasyland that has features and entertainment for children of all ages. From magic carpets to pirate ships to haunted houses to wild rides - you will find all inside Magic Kingdom Park.
Magic Kingdom has Snow White's Scary Adventures in which you ride through a the fairytale featuring the Evil Queen; Mickey's PhilharMagic starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck in a delightful 3-D presentation; the Monsters, Inc. Comedy Club; and Stitch's Great Escape when you are placed in the middle of a chaotic, hilarious, out of control escapade led by Stitch, himself.
If ducks and mice and funny monsters are not you idea of an exciting time, there is always Space Mountain - Magic Kingdom's high-speed thrill ride that launches you off into pure darkness in this space-themed, super-fast rollercoaster. This ride is not for the faint of heart!
However, there is so much more to Walt Disney World than Magic Kingdom Park. There is Epcot, which features numerous interactive shows introducing the amazing realities and possibilities of the world around us.
Key attractions at Epcot include thrilling rides that blast you off into space on daring cosmic missions, flying adventures that float you above some of the world's most amazing wonders, and racing simulations that take you through some of the toughest, yet exciting terrains on earth.
The Pavilions at Epcot are other highly popular attractions for visitors of Walt Disney World. When you step inside a Pavilion you are instantly transported to faraway lands such as Canada, Morocco, Italy or Japan - even the good old USA. In the Pavilions you have an opportunity to experience and celebrate these fantastic worlds up close through entertaining and educational activities, shopping and dining which are all brought together with amazing costumes and decorations.
Another popular Walt Disney World park is Animal Kingdom. The fabulous Kilimanjaro Safaris at Animal Kingdom allow you to see African animals such as lions, giraffes and elephants, roaming in a their natural habit, as you tour-along in an open-sided safari vehicle.
Walt Disney World offers much more than entertaining parks, attractions and rides. The Walt Disney World Resorts allow you to maintain the Disney magic throughout your entire stay - even while you are away from the theme parks. In fact, each hotel is a mini-theme park in itself!
Lets not forget to eat! Well, that wouldn't be possible anyway at Walt Disney World. There are many fabulous restaurants and other eateries through all Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts, including those found at Downtown Disney Marketplace and the Disney's Boardwalk.
Favorites include the Mediterranean cuisine at Spoodles on the Disney Boardwalk, Italian cuisine at Portobello Yacht Club at the Downtown Disney Marketplace and plenty of character dining such as Cinderella's Royal Table at Magic Kingdom.
When you are planning a vacation at Walt Disney World, try to visit as many of the many theme parks and entertaining Walt Disney World Resorts as you can. There is such a large selection of parks and resorts a Walt Disney World that it will take days to see it all.
